Our Story

Smiling and holding jar of cannabis buds

Harvest Cannabis Dispensary opened its doors in October of 2019, one of the first dispensaries to come to life in Arkansas’ nascent medical marijuana market. Woman-led and operated by a small but daring crew of entrepreneurs from many facets of the industry, it is fair to say that everyone involved from day one of Harvest’s operations has seen quite a lot of growth and transformation!

Almost five months to the day after Harvest opened its doors, Covid was declared a pandemic, and in spite of the manifold uncertainties and obstacles that have presented themselves in a fundamentally confusing time, Harvest has remained strong, has remained open, and has employed the best strengths of its team members to adapt, grow, and find solutions to obstacles facing the cannabis industry and all people involved. Our crew is the heart of Harvest, and every single one of us was selected for and has brought unique strengths and perspectives to the table. Those passions and drives, woven together by clever and effective management, have blazed a trail of growth and accomplishment.

Our initial crew of seven is a mere fraction of the team of professionals currently onboard at Harvest, yet many of our employees have been with us since those first few months. Our facilities have grown on many fronts. The building has been expanded to create new service areas. Our cultivation department has grown in ways that not only lend to the development of high-quality cannabis flower and superior medicinal products, but also the development and dissemination of useful knowledge regarding cutting-edge agriculturally ethical methods of cannabis cultivation. Our trajectory is centered on remaining flexible and ready to take on every new challenge as it comes in order to achieve our ultimate goal of offering the best in quality, be it services or products, to our patients.
